Office meeting
I was going to stop by for office hours today but got called into work. I just got off and wanted to let you know why I wasn’t in class or at your office today. I also found out my posts did not post, so I’ll be doing that in the next few minutes. I will stop by your office on Wed. _Chris_
Project part 2
After looking at the dates of the articles, I saw they were not as recent as I hoped. I think I want to turn my attention to wireless technology and education. I saw some articles on Kairos but don’t know yet what the second journal will be. A lot of the journals I look at require memberships. If anyone knows a way to find journals easily I would appreciate it. -chris-
Project Proposal
Ok…so I realized I typed my proposal at work, andnow that I’m home, I don’t have access to the proposal I submitted. Nevertheless, for my project I plan on examining sound as it relates, I guess, to its evolution. I’m interested in tracing sound as far back as sounds that were produced through the body, like hand clapping and foot stomping, chants and hums, , beatboxing to the current beat machines that are now used to produce those sound effects.
As far as journals used, I am interested in using Kairos and cross referencing that with the Black Music Research Journal.
Professor Z…your feedback is NEEDED…and appreciated.
Thanks,
Kendra N. Bryant
kz project proposal
I will look at five years (starting with 2008) of Kairos for articles about the educational practices and possibillites in distance education and compare /contrast those with Cyberpsychology and Behavior. I will focus as much as possible on emerging technologies that are more immediately interactive, such as eLuminate and Second Life.
project
I wanted to work with the idea of hypertext. As of right now I’m looking at hypertext in the classroom. The two journals I am using are Kairos and Journal of Design Communication. I want to see how a Rhetoric based journal sees hypertext in the classroom compared to JDC who would be pro technology anywhere. I’m still working with this so if anyone has any suggestions to narrow or improve my focus, I’m all ears. -Chris-
KZ: Summary of Moxley?
Hi KZ,
I’m not seeing your summary. Are you having trouble publishing it?
Thanks,

I think I am a blond…
I was looking for my postings. To my dismay, I could not find them. I search and search, but I could not find them. I know I “saved” them on our blog. What went wrong? I was going to e-mail professor Zoetewey to get help. As I was writing the message, I saw several links with titles very familar to what I wrote. In fact, It was my work. I found it. In my “blondness” I have been saving all my work to the blog thinking that it would post it to our blog. I was wrong. Clicking the “Save” button only saved my work; it did not publish it. I have to click on “Publish” so that my post is added to our blog.
I just want to apologize to the class. I did not want to give the impression that was not contributing to our very cool and interesting blog. From now and on, I will be sure to click on the “publish” Box.
See you tomorrow.
P.S. I hope nobody is offend by the blond trop.
Apparently my post didn’t publish last night
and I don’t understand why. I came to the question page to ask why I couldn’t find my post, and I see it up there after Your Drafts. I’ll try to publish it now. Kate Z
WordPress/Blog instructions
Hi all,
Thanks for taking time to look around WordPress. I know experimenting with unfamiliar technologies can be frustrating. I found this collection of tutorials. It might be helpful:

This one is especially promising:

It walks you through posting and such.
