Bibliography

Note: I have chosen the topic of Collaborative Technology, focusing mainly on the use of Asynchronous Communication technologies used for collaboration, such as blogs and wikis.  I had intended to keep a narrow focus on blogs and wikis specifically, but was unable to find enough information outside the field of Composition on just those two technologies, so I expanded my research to include other technologies used for collaboration as well.   I hope this is acceptable – I am planning to do my thesis on Collaborative Writing, so I was attempting to choose a topic that would help me toward that end.

The two journals I have selected are Kairos (for the field of composition) and Music Educators Journal (in the field of music education).  My selections from Kairos cover the years 2002-2007; the selections from Music Educators Journal include 2005-2007, but also some selections from previous years, including 1993, 1995, 1996, and 1999, which address collaboration from differing perspectives.  I am still working to locate articles from Kairos for the years 1996 and 1999 to compare to the entries in Music Educators.
